COMMON CONCERNS

- before a giveaway begins, the host account will follow you days prior to the giveaway or just a few hours before. in any case, there are people on instagram that will follow you during this time because they follow giveaway pages or search for giveaway pages. this can absolutely not be helped by anyone. this means you are almost certain to receive followers outside of the demographic you were hoping to gain and it’s almost certain they will not follow the actual sponsor of the giveaway, because the sponsor won’t have posted anything yet. it is not uncommon that these profiles will alarm you in terms of authenticity or demographic as giveaways are highly sought by individuals in other countries. why you ask? socioeconomic factors play a huge role in the success of a giveaway. for example, giveaways from sponsors with high demographics in third world countries or regions with a significant disparity in income (sparse middle class) are more successful across the board. this is because the giveaway items are significantly more valuable to these users (i.e. a giveaway for an iphone means far less to people who can easily afford one than to someone who may never be able to afford one). these users will follow you and it will not be related to the demographics of the sponsor.
Fake “giveaway account” vs FAKE ACCOUNT
- Please read this carefully. you should be worried about fake accounts, most definitely. however a fake “giveaway account” is something entirely different. anyone on instagram is no stranger to giveaways, they are everywhere. we also know there has been no shortage of complaints by instagram users about having to follow 40+ users to enter A giveaway. what many people are doing is creating a secondary account specifically to enter giveaways so they don’t have to follow so many people on their everyday account. secondary accounts aren’t used as often, may contain very little info / posts, and will looks similar to a fake account. there is no real way to tell the difference or avoid this as giveaways have become so mainstream. our best advice is to take the good with the bad and be at peace with the process or do not enter giveaways if this is something you’re uncomfortable with.
UNFOLLOWS
- When the giveaway ends, you will be unfollowed by numerous users. this is an expectation you MUST have. this number will vary depending on who the sponsor is, how much they align with your brand and who their audience is. unfortunately, giveaways are the fastest most effective way to gain followers in such a short period of time but it’s not a perfect system. we always say, during the giveaway is your moment to show these new followers who you are and win their Affection before it’s over. this process, although the most effective, disrupts the organic follow process. “organic” meaning, normally a user wil stumble upon your instagram page, decide if they like the content, then follow. The giveaway process is backwards, the user will blindly follow and then decide if they like the content afterwards. it wouldn’t hurt to strategically think of ways to interact with your new followers to get them to stay!
- Let’s get real for just a second, take a tiny bite of humility and swallow it. you must be comfortable with the fact that not everyone is going to like you or your content. this is a huge reason people unfollow after a giveaway. the worst thing you can do is dwell on it and give it attention. if you have an app that tracks your unfollows, delete it. It’s not good for your mental health. on the flip side, maybe it’s time to revamp your content, redo your website, invest in a better camera… whatever you feel you can do to put the best, quality content out there to capture as many new followers possible. THE GIVEAWAY I ENTERED was a flop! What do I do?

If you purchased a guaranteed / gg giveaway or a guarantee add-on, you’ll be added to as many SUBSEQUENT giveaways as it takes to garner the lowest estimated amount advertised. However, if you purchase an estimated gain spot you will need to know what to expect in the case the giveaway underperforms. Even a sponsor with 10 million followers can be impacted by a low engagement day and ALGORITHM issues. sometimes, not often, a bad algorithm day will spring up on the giveaway launch day or during the giveaway which can significantly alter the estimated gains. Because of these factors, giveaways are ALWAYS a risk and you should prepare yourself for the chance of this before you make any purchase. Please continue reading to “Understand pricing & refunds” and the “terms and conditions” to better explain.

UNDERSTANDING PRICING & REFUNDS

babefluence does not involved in the determination of operating costs and entry costs to any CAMPAIGN. THESE prices are determined by the managing agency / talent agency that has hired the celebrity or influencer.

The cost is factored in a few different ways. Most importantly are the “hard costs”:

Sponsor(s) fee
ads

There are fees on top of that which the host will add to make a commission but this is minuscule in comparison to the “hard costs” because it can be scaled with numerous entries. the hard costs can differ from thousands to tens of thousands of dollars. For example, the gift is always different but could be anywhere from $1000 (like a new Iphone) to multiple designer purses ($5000+). This has a lot to do with what the sponsor feels comfortable giving away and what their audience would be most interested in. The cost of the sponsor is in line with standard fees associated with influencer campaigns, and depending on their engagement, anywhere from 10/CPM to 20/CPM. To have the best chances, hired sponsors will typically have over 1 million followers and the cost base is anywhere from $10k-$20k per million followers depending on their engagement. That is why you would see certain giveaways priced significantly different. With that in mind, influencers living in the United States rank on the higher end of the CPM rate because they have the most valuable audiences (American Females) and they will charge a premium rate to the host accordingly.

We can only predict the response and behavior of any given person we’re targeting in a campaign, thus, giveaways are ALWAYS a risk. nine times out of ten, They meet our expectations but every now and then the target is missed. They are a risk because there is no way to process a refund.

The “hard costs” can't be refunded because the prize can't be returned or cancelled, the sponsor has been paid a fee to complete the campaign, and we can’t call up instagram and ask for a refund on the ads. as long as the sponsor does their job and completes the postings required by contract, the host has no recourse if for some reason their engagement was bad that day and it wasn't as successful as predicted. Think back to the last campaign you were hired for, the brand can’t recall your fee if you’re followers didn’t respond as well as they’d hoped. When I spoke about a commission fee the host takes, it's usually no more than $50 per sale. If the host is willing to offer a refund, which they usually are not, it would be whatever their fee was, which is insignificant compared to your entire cost (certainly nothing near what you would hope to get back). this is also why we can never guarantee a refund, the money is simply not available.

As a concierge service, we are able to offer store credits, different types of compensation or other services to make up for this, even if the host is unwilling, because we don't want clients feeling let down in a situation like this.

You may ask yourself, why so many people join these even though the downside is just flat out losing your money. Giveaways are currently the the most effective way to garner large amounts of real followers quickly without resorting to bots or inauthentic engagement.

All case study, estimations, previous result reports or forecast results should not be relied upon as a guarantee of the actual performance of any campaign. Results of this service and other related services are never guaranteed, as authentic growth depends on a variety of factors that are beyond control by BABEfluence.
The sole purpose of our digital advertising & marketing services are to expedite the speed in which your account grows or content is made visible to targeted audiences. We do not have contracts with these individuals, thus we can't guarantee any individual will like, continue to like, or engage with your content at any time.
It is at any individuals discretion to follow, unfollow or engage with your advertised accounts on the platform they subscribe to or visit during or after the campaign has ended. we will not be held responsible for the actions of any user that interacts with your account before, during or after a campaign (Follow / unfollow / engage). we will not be made responsible to determine if the user came directly from a babefluence campaign. (i.e. the listed demographic is USa but someone from france follows you. we will not be able to asses or be held responsible for this as they could have followed for a variety of reasons which include, organically finding your page, having visited the giveaway page on their own, already followed the giveaway page before the launch, participate in actively looking for giveaways to join. There is no Instagram api available to track this)
these same formalities extend to the host that is responsible for managing the campaigns.
your purchase is being forwarded to the host to pay sponsor fees, ads & prize costs, which are non-refundable.
we value your privacy and will only share pertinent information to a third party that is required to complete your transaction (i.e. in a giveaway, only your username is shared. in web services, only your url is shared). billing, contact information and receipts are for internal use only.
services listed on www.babefluence.com & other marketing materials are offered on behalf of 3rd party companies that have been vetted for quality and competency in their field. all information entered in the listing is provided by each company.
BABEfluence will not be held responsible for any issue related to giveaway purchases other than forwarding payments on your behalf to the giveaway host.
No refunds will be given for any purchases, unless the following applies and is approved by babefluence:
1. if we have failed to forward your purchase for a giveaway to the host company which causes you to miss the giveaway, you will be given a full refund or option of store credit. in a matter of dispute (I.e. You feel we did not enter you, but we did), proof of payment to the host company will be provided to you which will include A traceable transaction id, date and your instagram handle. we reserve the right to redact any information from the receipt we deem non-essential such as payment amount, business contact information (email, address, EIN, name etc) to protect the privacy of our vendor. Please rest assured, it will clearly state essential information to validate the transaction.
2. if a giveaway you have purchased has been cancelled, you will be given a full refund or option of store credit. this does not include delays. The giveaway must be formally cancelled by the host to qualify.
3. if your giveaway purchase came in when we were over capacity or the purchase came in after the launch, you will be given a full refund or option of store credit. this will be done automatically on our end. you will not be entitled to a refund if you file a claim because you’re unsure if we are over capacity or the giveaway has launched. you will be refunded automatically if the giveaway has already begun or we are over capacity.
under no circumstances will you be refunded after you have been successfully entered into a giveaway and the giveaway has launched.
under no circumstances will you be refunded for a giveaway purchase if you voluntarily remove yourself from the follow list, block the host page or make your page private during the giveaway.
under no circumstances will you be refunded for any marketing or campaign service listed on the babefluence website once the program has started.
if you request a refund less than 24 hours prior to a campaign launch, a cancellation penalty of $200 on full prices purchases or no less than $100 on discounted purchases may apply to any applicable refund. this will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and at the full discretion of babefluence. you may avoid this fee by finding a replacement account to take your place.
sponsors may change without notice. if you are set on purchasing a campaign with the listed sponsor, please reach out to babes@babefluenc.com and request a sponsor guarantee which we can approve via email.
Sponsors and participants are verified for authentic following through www.hypeauditor.com to maximize results, however each giveaway performs differently and is subject to variables; such as Instagram algorithm & level of promotion from participants. We do not promote giveaways that use bots to generate traffic or followers. We do not promote giveaways that buy followers to boost results
all giveaways are listed with an “EST” (estimated launch date) to remain flexible to the sponsors, hosts and outside factors like Instagram updates, outages, low traffic rhythms etc. it is not recommended you make this purchase if you are depending on the exact launch date as they always vary. No refunds will be given for delays and reschedules.
You acknowledge that giveaway results are always a risk and that BABEfluence has done it’s best to vet and research businesses before offering these services.
we take paypal & credit / debit card claims and disputes very seriously and will always do the right thing when it comes to your purchase. simply reaching out to us via email can solve matters very quickly. however we are aware it is very easy to file a claim and “win” against non-tangible services. we also know it is commonly abused for purchases of this nature. because of this, we will not tolerate paypal abuse and you will be automatically refunded for any future purchases. for any lost revenue due to a false claim, we will be forced to hold the host company liable for collections remittence to pay balances owed to our account. to collect our losses for cases won in your favor, your original purchase receipt and claim documents will be forwarded to the host company as proof for remittence. These documents includes your name, billing address, phone number, email, applicable social handles, any additional form entries required by your purchase and the payment method that was used. your payment information is hidden but may include the last 4 digits of your card number if you paid via credit / debit or your paypal email if you paid by paypal. it is at the hosts full discretion to allow you to continue as a client and / or contact you regarding your claim or monies owed to them in a false dispute.
As we are not able to provide physical proof of completion for electronic services, you agree that in a dispute filed as “item not received”, your confirmation email stating that your order has been processed and ANY copy of our payment to the applicable company required to cary out your purchase will constituTe as “item received”. (this is not the email that contains your initial receipt, it is the email that is sent after we’ve processed your order)
under no circumstances will you be refunded if the campaign does not reach the expected outcome unless you purchased a guaranteed giveaway or guarantee add-on and, by signing the purchase agreement, you hereby relinquish (“babefluence”, THB MARKETING HOUSE llc, THB & FDC CAPITAL LLC) from responsibility to refund claims listed as “Not as described”.
In the event of a dispute, this authorization will serve as a contract and formal acknowledgement of the terms and conditions of this purchase and will be forwarded to any institutions that request documentation.
